This country would have been far worse under Harris. And we would have been approaching nuclear war with Russia. Harris would have had use far deep in the conflict in Ukraine with Russia. She would have let more people flood into the U.S. unchecked and living off U.S. citizens and getting better treatment than an average American. She would have done her own way of careless, reckless spending. I'm glad Kamala Harris is not our president. But I wish Trump had made better choices for our country than a number of the choices he has made. He had a good footing. Now he has lost his step. He needs to get on balance or he'll cause this country to fall Big Time.

Now in the Bible which teaches monogamy for women, a virgin was to go to the first man to have her. Then she was to be with him for the rest of his life. That is how monogamy was taught in the Bible. Something else is being taught now days. -

You are right. Polygyny is in the Bible.
In the Bible, women are to be monogamous, and a male can have more than one female.
David's sin was not having more than one wife; his sins was having someone else's wife. (2 Samuel 12:8-9)
Nonetheless, the New Testament teaching is that it is better not to marry. (Matthew 19:10 and 1 Corinthians 7:1)
Governments surely do not follow Bible teachings. Government over reach likes to intrude in our lives upon our freedoms and intrude upon our relationships. In the Bible, women are to go free without payment of money and a guy gets to keep his house. (Deuteronomy 24:1-4) In the Bible, women and government could not initiate a divorce. Only a husband could write a certificate of divorce. But Jesus speaks against divorce and Jesus speaks against marriage after divorce. How far have we gotten away from scripture?
Good luck on having a harem. Not many Christian women will approve of that. But they do approve of divorce and taking a guy for what he's got, even while that is against the scriptures. Now right is wrong and wrong is right. You cannot expect the church and the government to change their message overnight. But you are right. In the Bible, a male can have more than one female. Only a church leader is to be the husband of but one wife. Paul encouraged people to be single and celibate like himself. But not everyone can except that teaching. Marriage isn't for everyone either. -

Electric bills are insane and property tax is essentially paying rent for your own place, and if you don't pay your property tax for two years, the government can legally steal a place from you. You can faithfully pay property taxes every year for 50 years, then if something bad happens to you, others take the property from you. WHO really wants to be a homeowner? Homeownership is a ball and chain. -
