Hi, I am new to dating. I have been out of the loop for a good while and I don't work anymore so I have a lot of time on my hands. I figure it is time to get out, meet some people, socialize and have some fun in life. I have been married twice but that was a long time ago. I have two grown boys ages 36 and 34. I am about to turn 55 in January. Yep, I had my kids when i was pretty young. I had my first when I was only 18 and my second at the age of 21. My marriages didn't turn out to be anything like I had hoped or dreamed for. I gave it my all but it just wasn't good enough, so I gave up on having a relationship with anyone and remained single ever since. I was deeply hurt by love. It really does take two people to make a relationship work. I became strong and independent and before i knew it time had just flown by. The kids are long gone and now I have recently stopped working so i'm getting lonely. I've never been lonely before but allot changes when you begin to get older. For the longest time i thought I could get by without a relationship or being in love but now I'm realizing i might be wrong about that. I always wanted it, I just was unlucky with love. I am willing to try once again. I just want to find my person and grow old together, laughing, loving and sharing life. Life is no fun alone.
