About Me:

Hello all,

I don't have the gift to gab, or to easily talk about myself, so I will follow the suggested tips.
I love the outdoors, mostly in warm weather. Hiking on nature trails is a favorite activity of mine. I enjoy local outdoor concerts in the summer. Ask me and I'll tell you who my favorite is. My preferred style of music is 70s rock. Heart, Tom Petty and the Eagles for example. In the winter, I follow the NFL Lions and play fantasy football.

I don't have a lot of plans. Do a little landscaping, including planting a couple of small trees to replace those lost, to fix up my yard. I have always meant to go white water rafting again. I went once and it was a blast. Maybe next summer.

My personality is casual, down to Earth. A little more intense when trying to accomplish a task, or work related. I am more passive than aggressive, until someone crosses that line. I believe in treating others with respect and courtesy. People generally find that I am a person who can be trusted.

There are many movies that I can enjoy, but I most enjoy action movies like Die Hard, or a Clint Eastwood movie. Kind of a sci-fi fan too. I have participated in recreational softball and soccer leagues in the past. Returning to the Porcupine Mts. for some hiking sounds fun.

My Ideal Match:

I don't necessarily have a specific goal, as I think there is value in any type of relationship. It could be a friend, brief encounter, casual dating, or long term relationship. Of course, the longer term it is, the more compatibility that is required. I don't deal with conflict though. Respect is a two way street, and is expected. I would be looking for someone drug free, hopefully with a little sense of humor. No comedian. Just able to laugh at simple things. I relate better to people who are somewhat talkative, and women who may be a bit sensitive or high strung are sometimes comfortable around me due to my positive and trustworthy nature.
