I love riding my motorcycle through the Irish Hills. Sometimes I pickup Michigan Ave and head west. When I cross the threshold into Irish Hills it feels like a different world, and I can feel the stress melting away. The soft curves of the road allows for up and down shifting that makes the ride fun and the stretches allow me to feel the wind and enjoy the beauty of the rolling farmland. I love the low rumble sound that a Harley makes. After a few miles, just as I’m leaning into one of the curves, the view of Evans Lake appears on the left. I always slow down and take in the blue water between cabins and the Evans Lake Resort. On days that I’m lucky I’ll catch the sight of a Huron gliding above the water. From there are endless possibilities.
