About Me:
I am fully retired. I was a high school and college teacher and basketball coach as well as athletic director. I was in the education and sports fields for over 35 years. I took early retirement and moved from Indiana to Florida where I had a small condo close to the beach. I enjoyed walking the beach on a daily basis. I also worked at a resort golf course as a groundskeeper and office manager. My late wife and I were enjoying this lifestyle for several years, then she suffered a massive stroke which left her mentally challenged. Physically she had few drawbacks but mentally she went from near genius to a 3rd grade reading level. She also suffered from familial dementia which was progressive. I took care of her for 13 years before she passed away June of 2025. After a period of mourning, I have begun to get back into the mainstream of llfe.
