Hello Young MEN
I am an older man, but many times during the day and night I feel as if I was 19 YO again, if you get what I mean. I live in a beautiful retirement home in downtown Sudbury, Ontario, where all my needs and meals are attended to by a great, empathetic staff. The cost is somewhat more than the usual retirement homes I have come across but I truly know that it's worth it. I think I have lived a life that I loved; born into a hard-working middle class family in Winnipeg MB. During my time at the University of Manitoba I was fortunate to have a variety of summer jobs that paid for the following year's tuition: Dining car waiter, stationed in my hometown and travelling west to Vancouver and east to Toronto, eating what the passengers ate, only had to serve myself from the kitchen. I met and chatted with many people travelling for their holidays, always chatting up my passengers and thereby gaining good confidence to engage in my future profession of architectural design. Another summer job of note was the 2 summers I spent as intern draftsman for a prestigious Toronto architectural firm; they must have liked what I did for them, being invited back for a second summer term…Now this site suggests I state my tastes in music which are essentially 'everything': Broadway show tunes; I have been to NYC a few times specifically to see new shows; cool jazz as epitomised by the great Oscar Peterson and others; classical music just melts me, especially the concertos of the RUSSIAN GREATS, Rachmaninoff, Thaikovsky, and also Devorak, Smetana, Beethoven, and so on, and on. I'm not much for TV Series although I did enjoy "The Crown" when it was first on Netflix. When I was in practice, my (now deceased) wife enjoyed travel to many countries; France, Italy, Thailand in SE Asia, as well as Mexico and USA, many parts of our great Country of Canada. I hope that I will meet someone compatible with my ambitions of hanging out with a beautiful young man in my cozy little apartment in Downtown Sudbury.
