i'm a retired 70yo man living in Florence OR. i live alone now, my beloved wife & partner of 22yrs died 8/25 & neither of us had children. Playing music was my serious hobby for over 50 years (bass guitar, synths, loops, recording) but quit a few years ago bcuz of an injury and a lack of compatible players in my area - my "classic rock" is punk rock & i like it loud & fast. Have also played a number of different styles but feel awkward playing blues & don't like C&W at all, but cowpunk was cool tho. There's a lot of things to do both around here and farther away that i'd be interested in going to and/or doing, too many to list in fact, but it's also a fact that i have no interest in doing them alone anymore, i want a friend and activity partner to do stuff while i'm still able to and still have the resources to do it with.
