I keep fairly busy as I have more cats than I want, extras taken in when my wife's sister died so they wouldn't go to bad homes or be euthanized- then I lost her nine months later after over 40 years of happiness. I read a lot and have been coauthor of a book on military history (WW2) and working on another with a different author. I read widely though little fiction. I like the outdoors and want more time in future with less cats when I can get out, at least hiking in the metroparks next year. My sports interest is hockey and am plotting to get to the Detroit opener in October somehow- been too long. Love to take a lady with me. I was stationed in Detroit in the Coast Guard (Vietnam era) and am not a complete stranger to it.

My partner is always my best friend and I thrive on closeness and mutual support. I am an optimist and supportive, always there when a boost is needed. I will trave up to 60 miles from Cleveland to meet and date the right lady. I have a small hose in good shape that's paid off.
