I have been hoping to find a partner for about fifty or more years. I think dad found the last greatest mom on earth. Mom however loved dad but could not Stand his girlfriends.
My biggest concern has been finding a girl I would trust with my children. I tell you what. I thought attracting a mate was impossible until I had a stroke. I thought it was impossible before, now I know what impossible feels like.
I didn’t think I was abusing myself enjoying my eating habits or taking care of my hygiene, job, property, finances, or myself. I am much more aware of what the wrong things will eventually do to a person.
I eat better, get my beauty sleep, exercise, and as many domestic chores as possible. I should probably get a lawn tractor because I haven’t been behind my push mower since Dec. 2024. I did the math and a riding lawnmower is a lot more inexpensive than another stoke generated by heat. Another option I find attractive is hire a lawn service.
The hobby I miss the most is being a furrier. That’s right. Let me tell you. I get the most compliments and inquiries when the south Texas atmosphere permits wearing such opulence. Although I would probably attract a customer that was in the market for something sculpted out of the hides of dead animals if I was on the north side of the Nueces River.
Another hobby I was making noise with my 5 string Stienberger Bass. Sometimes I still pick it up and use it for therapy. I wasn’t a prodigy before my traumatic brain injury. I have decided that plugging up to shred can probably wait until I get more strength, range of motion, and skills would be handy.
