My name is Mike and I grew up in Herrin, went to SIU and graduated with a degree in Accounting and went to work for a major firm in Chicago. My life developed from my profession and I have traveled extensively in the US and vacationed in over twenty countries, mostly in Europe. My overseas travel began in my forties when I joined the first group of Peace Corps volunteers to go to Russia after the Soviet Union broke up. Obviously, I enjoy adventure and can interact and get along with people of multiple nationalities. My personal flexibility and professional pursuits has caused me to live in several major US cities that include Cincinnati, Dallas and Houston. I try to maintain an above average level of fitness by walking three miles daily and playing tennis and pickleball several times each week.
