About Me:
Hello, I'm a 72 yo artist. Started as a street photographer in N.Y.C., N.Y. straight out of high school and let life guide me from then on. I paint in both watercolor and oils and prefer landscapes and abstract landscapes as subject matter. At times I'm directed to create art in response to peoples behaviors. I find it quite interesting as to how people respond to life's moments. I also spin my own yarn, so as to be able to weave my miniature tapestries. Again in response to the beauty and ugly life presents me. I have recently started to create automata and truly enjoy the mechanics of the automata, which is created in paper, cardstock and wood.
I've met my goals by being real with myself and not trying to impress anyone.
I love the music of the sixties and seventies, I really love jazz (M.J.Q., Coryell, Corea, Weisberg), I also love Motown.
I play Bass, guitar, mandolin, violin, fiddle, ukulele and flute.
I'm pretty fearless and it took most of life to teach me what I needed to be fearless.
