Hobbies? Currently going to college online at the University of Minnesota. Going to attempt an on-campus class fall semester I like going for walks and visiting the parks and lakes around here. Once in a while walk to the small downtown area near here to window shop and people watch. I'm a sober alcoholic and considered a few french fries short of a Happy Meal. Been sober for over 5 years. Have lived on disability for quite some time and going to college to get a degree is so I can maybe go back to work helping others get sober. Been a long, interesting life and I like to tell stories, many of them funny like the time the fire department out east had to come to get me out of a big tree. I haven't given up on home ownership yet. Being on disability I can't do fancy restaurants and I prefer to avoid bars/nightclubs. Wouldn't be hard to convince me to go to a Twins game for a date. Walking in the park, I like nature. I have a bit of a large family with 6 kids and 18 grandkids. Number 19 is on the way. I never know what to write on here, way better at answering questions. I don't tell lies, too hard to keep track of and I have little to hide. I haven't dated in a very long time. My last girlfriend/roommate I met in rehab and she drank herself to death must be 15 years ago. Haven't dated since. I can explain later. Yes, I smoke but working on quitting. Doctors orders. My Ideal Match:
Trying to decide whether want to look for my usual type or try something new. My history has been I've only dated one person close to my height. Tend to like petite types I guess. I have never had a one-night stand and don't plan to. Have lived with or married the majority of my exes. Can't believe I married my first sex. I was 18, she was 17. Not my best idea but hey, it was the 70s. Not overly interested in a meet-and-hop-in-the-sack as a first date. Might be nice but at the moment I'm mostly looking for a female company that's not one of my daughters to hang out with. Watch movies, go for walks, and do other things that might interest the other person. Race isn't an issue, types are. I don't think it is racism but I have a problem with certain types of people and they come in all races
