Hello Sir -
I was âBorn in the USAâ, and raised by my hard working (strong), Portuguese Mama and grandma (grandpa died before I was born), and immature father left my beautiful mama after making 3 babies in 3 years (wimp).
I grew up and lived in the beautiful Central New York area for over 50 years.
Iâve been through quite a lot, yet I am a survivor!
After high school, I mainly chose to be a hairdresser (Licensed Cosmetologist), yet I married young, and was blessed with two children by the age of 21, and had our third child by age 27, so I was mainly a homemaker for about 12 - 15 years, before I finally chose to pursue my own personal goals, passions and interests (hey, we only live once). Thanking God đ for many blessings in my life (smiling ear to ear), especially that our kids turned out great!! These days are my better days. My kids are now adultsâŠI have two wonderful grandkidsâŠand I now feel more peaceful, calm and content.
Sadly, in 2017, my oldest child, my amazing, funny, gifted, intelligent, humble and modest only son, passed away from brain cancer (glioblastoma). This was a traumatic, unexpected, painful life scarâŠthat feels unfairâŠand still sometimes feels as if itâs a nightmare that doesnât end or go awayâŠbut I must remind myself, that I am still here for an important reason, and that my son would want me to. E happy and enjoy life!!

Some of my interests, hobbies & habits are:
Nature, gardening, walking, arts & crafts, painting, wood work, exploring, hiking, and appreciating Godâs beautiful earth!
Arts & crafts, woodworking, painting, building and making improvementsâŠyet improvising when & where necessary (I tend to be quite practical).
Some sports and physical activities such as bowling, bike riding, aerobics, gym workouts, playing frisbee, baseball/softball, football (tailgating), hiking, rollerblading, swimming, volleyball etc.
I enjoy interacting with my daughter and grandkids and being an active, loving mama & grandma (âNanaâ) in their lives!
I lived in Sacramento, CA area for a short time (2017-18), then in the Auburn, Alabama area for a few yrs. (2018-2021), which was during the (Covid) pandemic where I drove 30 passenger busses for AU students/CDL B).
I have returned home for nowâŠto be near family, close friends, and active in my grandkids lives.
This is a long-awaited, comfortable and secure feeling, to be in the same town/village that I grew up in. âThereâs no place like homeâ!
I would also appreciate a healthy social life now too, while reconnecting with lifelong friends, and also meeting nice, honest and respectful people.
Looking for my future soulmate, yet not holding my breath or sitting around waiting.
I do plan to start as a good friend, and put in my best efforts grow our relationship together. I plan to appreciate this temporary time on earth!
