I love the outdoors. Hiking and camping have always been favorites of mine but as I get older a cabin in the woods by a lake sounds just as good.
I lean towards eastern spirituality and I adhere to a vegetarian diet along with a regular sitting practice. I will eat meat on occasion as situations dictate.
I enjoy reading and I’ve got a soft spot for books in particular. Mostly nonfiction. Nothing like the smell or feel of an old book!
Musically; I was raised on the Beatles. My mom sang opera, jazz, blues and was in the church choir growing up.
I like to believe I’m a stand up guy. Prior service. 5 tours in the Army. Two stints w/ county level SAR and the Red Cross.
I have two grown children and a grandchild. I volunteer w/ a local charity that helps homeless folks get into permanent housing and I’m involved with the VA.
I’m open minded and I like to think I’m accepting of others……let’s meet
