My name is Jim, I'm 62 and live in my own house with 3 dogs and 3 cats. Love spending time with them but conversations are always one sided. LOL. Retirement has afforded me time to indulge in my hobbies - gardening, doing contests (yes they're real and I win a lot), reading and sci fi movies. Several more but don't want to have you nod off. Haha. I don't have a car so I'm limited travel wise. It stinks TBH. My hope is to obtain one. That's a means to an end, it's difficult to make plans when your previous vehicle is in car heaven.
I consider myself kinda cute but that's a biased opinion, 😉. I'm not tall - 5'8" on a good day. What I lack in height I make up for in the personality department. I'm a good conversationalist, knowledgeable about a plethora of strange subjects and I have an endless supply of jokes, sarcasm and silly observations. My point is I rarely bore people, in fact laughter is more likely. For entertainment I'm a big movie person. Sci fi mostly but open to suggestions. (Please no Hallmark Channel!) Sundays find me watching football (big Dallas Cowboys fan!) And overeating. The only regular TV I watch is news, political reports and Jeopardy. Divorced twice, close to my first wife. We share two adult daughters, she recently remarried and I'm very happy for her. 5 grandchildren I don't see often enough. Going to end this with
A few things you should be aware of. I'm on Probation for a DUI from 2018. Doesn't affect my life except committing a crime would land my butt in jail. Secondly I smoke cigars and will quit only when I decide. (That sounds rude but I've had too many people try to "fix my problems". SMH.. Next on the not so great list. I have bi-polar but keep it under control with regular medications. Unfortunately a short depression pops up but doesn't last long. And..last item is I do occasionally drink beer. The effects are increased silliness, a tad more laughter and the random slow dance in my living room. If you got all the way through this I applaud your persistence.

My Ideal Match:
Is this where I describe my ideal woman? OMG thats impossible so I'll take the easy way out. Fair enough? Prefer a lady about 45 to 65 years young. Not looking for a perfect physical person. Preferably not taller than me, chubby is fine, obesity a turn off. (Lord I despise having to say that!) I do believe beauty goes far beyond one's physical appearance. I place more importance on personality. If you are able to hold a good conversation on various subjects you're my kind of woman. Curiosity a plus.
