About Me:

I'm I'm not so sure at my age I am seeking to attract a female, or recruit one. Being single, and having worked hard all my life, I have a boatload of assets that could benefit any female with an eye for an independent life. In the Sound of Music movie, I never forgot the line the Baroness says to Captain Von Trapp, that she either seeks a man who needs her desperately, or needs her money desperately, and now approaching my later years, I know exactly what she meant.
With several paid off properties I have no necessity to work any longer.. My long years of being an independent business person, my belief in the Lord, an eye for investment, and a few lucky breaks made my future retirement years much easier than I had expected through uncertainty, and years of overachieving.. While there are compromises in life, of qwelling one fear, at the expense of another, the balance of importance gains more relevancy in later years... for what good does it do a man to build a castle, only to wall himself in by negating to build a door?
While this example is a bit extreme, it does have relevance, for the notion that time is passing, is never truly realized until it has forever slipped into the past...
In compromising one fear for another, the hourglass must now be flipped over, for while the fear of financial insecurity has passed, the thought of being alone looms ominously in its place... Or does it?
I've always had good friends in my life, and good memories that go on forever, having times in my life that at times were so endearing in romanticism, I could only conceive them as fictional fantasy, had I not truly lived them.. But, those are stories to be shared, at a proper time and place, with someone who knows the value of living etherially through shared experiences of someone else who truly cares, and who's heart for adventure still strives to be fulfilled...
