I have led an adventurous life like climbing Mt Rainer and standing on top of the Mackinac bridge. I had a wonderful wife who gave me my daughter and two great stepchildren.
In 2008, I was diagnosed with Kennedy's disease (SBMA). It's similar to ALS but much slower progression. A month later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She died in 2015 after five bouts. I'm very proud of how strong she was and she's with God now.
On the other hand, I'm still here and able to walk and work in my shop. I workout 3-5 times a week on a bowflex and seated elliptical.
I built a large fabrication shop when I was still strong where I spend most of my days typically building architectural stairs and railing for a local home builder. It's fantastic exercise for my body and mind!
My daughter is 20 and her boyfriend is 21. They both live with me so they can help with household chores that I struggle with. I hope I don't sound like a big pain in the a**, just being honest about my condition.
The biggest thing I do for fun these days is driving my 1970 chevelle SS. We recently put a fresh 454 in it and it's more fun than Cedar Point!
I have tried dating sites in the past with nothing but disappointment. I'm honest and true and seeking a long-term relationship.
