About Me:
I'm a 59 year old divorced women who loves music, animals, laughing and hanging out with like minded people. I have moderate conservative friends but I really enjoy being around moderate liberals who also care about social issues.
In the past, I worked as a singer and classically trained violinist-fiddle player-jazz violinist with my own band. I've performed and enjoy many styles like traditional country, blues rock, smooth jazz, R&B, lounge jazz, Latin flavored and classical.
When my 2 sons were growing up, I also volunteered as a cub scout leader, event coordinator for school events and what ever else was needed. I've always tried to give back to the community.
I love to hang out with my goofy cats & favorite neighbors, attend meet-up groups & laugh, watch comedies-documentaries, spend time in nature, do yoga, cook, garden, read, decorate and make my place beautiful and inviting.
I'm also in the process of getting my Peer Counselor certification. I am an advocate for mental health and plan to help those struggling with depression, emotional trauma and anxiety. I lost my son 2 years ago due to PTSD after 16 years and several tours in Iraq/Afghanistan as a respected, accomplished paratrooper with 82nd Airborne.
I haven't dated in 2 years because of my immense grief but am starting to feel like moving on to the next chapter of my life. I have much unconditional love to give to the right partner and need the same. With an open mind and positive attitude, I hope to find someone to connect with and just see where it goes.
