SwM/51/245lb./5'9"/Reside in Lancaster, PA, USA 17602 in a small and tidy efficiency, on the 400-block of E. King St. My loc. puts me directly and conveniently on one of our city's more convenient bus routes; the RRTA bus #'s 1, 14, 20, & 21 which has a stop 1 block either east or west, of my bldg.
I am currently in the process of relocating to another part of my city, so when I get reestablished, then you shall be the very first, to be notified.
My Personality
I've been told that I am very easy to talk to and to deal with, and that I'm a rational person. Am I in my right mind? Yes, absolutely. I am emotionally stable, and are never physically or emotionally abusive to anybody whom I am romantically involved with. I have a colorful history, in that since childhood, I've dealt with ADHD and High-Functioning Autism, most commonly referred to as 'Asbergers Syndrome'. This unique illness is very easily managed and controlled by me through managble techniques which allows me to handle life in a way which I can cope with, on my own terms. Specific coping mechanisms/outlets include artistic projects, which for me are all aviation-focussed, and centered, as commercial aviation has always been a serious passion of mine, since childhood. 1 such project which I am involved with, is a custom shopping trolley which I hand-built in the effigy of an old Eastern Airlines McDonnell Douglas DC-9 jet, which is constructed out of PEX-piping, and bound together with zip-ties and tarp, as well as colored Duck Tape. This is kept outside, in front of my building, where others can view my work. This jet is pulled on top of a hand trolley and is wired up with LED lights which makes the realism of the aircraft pop, like nobody's business.
My Skill Set
I've been told by many people that I have a talent for cooking and know how to make many things, from scratch. I have been complimented on the fact that I happen to be a gourmet cook, as well. My soups are all homemade as are many other dishes here at home, as well.
Other skills include knowledge of MtB repair, including home repair tasks, as well.
A Brief Word About Auspies
Autism is a very common mild Intellectual Disability which affects many people world-wide, . We aren't ignorant, we aren't stupid, and we aren't invalid. We merely learn at a different pace and technique than others within the so-called 'mainstream' arena, who seem to have the know-how to run a business, or lead the typical 'stable' employment path, as opposed to those within our unique group. We don't want pity or to be looked down, upon. We merely ask to be treated like a human being and to be granted the same opportunities which others enjoy, in this short life. We have feelings, and our feelings are equally as meaningful to us, as are to those within the mainstream are, to them.
I am entirely comfortable within my own skin, and I love to joke around, make others laugh, and have fun. That's all part of my nature, and maintain a patient attitude, but that is not to be abused. I am very affectionate, and require a woman who is experienced in handling not just a man who has 'been around' (as they say) but who is humorous, easy-going, one who is affectionate. The most important item on this list, is a woman who is very easy to talk to, and who understands the dynamics of this mild intellectual disability.
