About Me:
I enjoy making and creating DIY recycling crafts & useful items. It is interesting when you look at an object that could be tossed out into the trash or recycling bin and come up with and idea to make it as useful item rather than fill up "Mother Earth." I enj gardening, both vegetable, flowers, and plants. I like to make my property look good and it makes me feel good when people make a comment about it. I was raised and brought up in the Native American ways. When I was a child we lived off the grid and I'm very respectful for what I have. Such as running H20 , electric, etc. I as told that I have Mohawk blood in my veins and I'm very proud of that. I was taught to respect my elders because they have been on Mother Earth longer than we have. I treat people the way I would want to be treated. I raised & taught my own children, grand daughters, and my former students the same tthing. It makes you feel better & the other people when you speak to them with kindness and you treat them with kindness, I am a former Special Ed.teacher, and I taught from pre-school to high school for 35 years. I enjoyed teaching, because I taught three important ways. 1, auditorial. 2, visual and kinastics. The children learned it the way which was easier for them, The best feeling was to see some of them graduate and go to collge, when other said they wouldn't amount to much.. Seeing that "Light bulb go off," was awesome! I would always tell them, "If I can do it, so can you!" Then we would do a happy dance. LOL I also love to make people laugh, even at my own expense.
My Ideal Match:
I am looking for a "gentleman," who will become my BFF. Someone that I can totally trust, and enjoy being around him. He must have a good sense of humor, and enjoys making other laugh too. I would hope that he is somewhat energetic and does a chore or a job well done, rather than just do it haphazordly. (hope that's spelled right..LOL) I would bsolutely love it if he was a "Jack-of-all-trades." or something like that. I would enjoy doing working activities together if at all possible. I like learning ways to accomplish things. Hopefully he likes gardening and DIY projects. Planning and doing things together or just on the spur of the moment is also fun. I would like to be able to discuss things or issues, rather than yelling or arguing about. It's so much better learning to compromising than arguing. Life is too short and I want to spent the rest of my time being happy than miserable. I would like him to watch true movies, family time, spirtual and postive movies. Rather than violence, killing, drugs, drinking and gangs. I hope he likes to play pool, play board games or card games. Hopefully just sitting and chatting and enjoying each other's company. I hope that he doesn't smoke, but if he did, he needs to go outside away from me. I don't mind casual drinking, but drinking to get drunk is not for me.
