About Me:
Recently moved into a house near downtown New Braunfels, a couple of blocks from the river. I’m still getting settled in but find myself wanting to get out and meet new people. I’m 40 years old, I’ve kept in shape for years. Muscular build but not too muscular. Salt and pepper beard and hair. Not balding. I frequent the gym as often as I can. I like to stay active and busy. I get stir crazy if I’m sitting too long (when it’s my free time). I have a lot of energy and stamina. I have a garage shop full of tools. I love to build furniture, weld, carpentry, started to teach myself how to work on cars, gardening, camping, hunting, and just being outdoors. Especially near the river or some body of water.
My goals in life are to eventually own a large piece of property, build a house, get some livestock, and be as self sufficient as possible. I had a 10 acre property but recently sold it. Didn’t feel right and wasn’t the right time. Some other goals are to start off roading in my Tacoma, possibly create a side hustle for extra cash, do some volunteer work to give back to the community, and maybe learn how to play guitar.
I’m easy going and friendly. I enjoy listening but can join into the conversation enthusiastically. I’m somewhat quiet and reserved but at times I can be a big personality. I love laughing and making others laugh. Almost nothing else feels better. I’m a good friend and will go out of my way to help. I’m the kind of person who helps someone stranded on the side of the road and helps them push their car.
I recently had my come to Jesus moment so I go to church every Sunday and thank Him daily for helping me and continuing to help me. I’m still learning how to be the best version of myself and taking it one day at a time.
