I'm not the kind of person who minces words, so I'll be very direct and to the point. Though I can be somewhat introverted, I am trying to be bolder and put myself out there for others to see. If someone wants to do something I've never done before, I don't typically reject a new experience as long as I have someone to experience it with, be it as a friendly outing or something more. In my free time I enjoy watching Movies / TV, playing video games, reading, and working on various hobbies such as nerdy collection stuff, amateur game development, planning / running table-top games, and sometimes simple arts and craft activities. My current profession is a software development role, and I am hoping one day to maybe shift that from general software into game development. Dream big, even if you can't hit the moon, you'll at least be among the stars somewhere!
I like to think of myself as fairly open-minded to most things and even if we go on a date or two and it's not feeling right, I am also just happy to make new friends. I moved to NJ only a year ago so I'm still pretty "new" to the area and don't have a ton of social connections. I'm not much of a sports or organized religion type person, so these things I may struggle to talk about or enjoy. I adore talking shop about the game industry, scientific theory and philosophies, whatever TV show or animated series I've been indulging in lately (or am a big fan of) and several other topics too numerous to list. One thing you can count on is conversation from me (and some corny jokes from time to time). Oh, and I am a certified professional chef, so I am really good at cooking. ;)
I know I'm not the most physically attractive person, and am trying to work on that as best I can. I intend to use this profile to post progress pics as a motivator to myself. I would be interested in going on a hike or possibly some kind of exercise activity, as long as it's fairly "newbie friendly" and low impact.

My Ideal Match:
I'm looking for someone who is passionate about what they like and doesn't care what others may think of them. I admire those who know what they want in life and are driven to pursue it, but I am also happy with people who like to simply go with the flow life hands them. Ultimately, as long as you are someone who can be direct, honest, and empathetic to those around you; I have no doubt we would hit it off, it not at least make good friends. If you enjoy your time snuggled under a nice blanket with some coco and a good book / movie, we should definitely try at least one meet up!
