About Me:
Welcome to my world ! I was actually born in Canada on a cold snowy December night, and when I was seven, family moved to Seattle, WA. I could play hockey at age four, and I've kept all my teeth. Learned to play soccer later, and was very good at it in highschool and college. I've played on the same pitch as Pele, (more on that later). While in highschool and college, I worked as a waiter in a Mexican restaurant, and love it's culture, customs, and food. Traveled once down as far as Costa Rica, Central America, and Mexico. Did a short stint in the US Air Force, and when I got out, earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. Worked and supported people with disabilities, and finally managed a HUD section 8 senior apartment complex. Now retired, I enjoy a slower pace of life, nature walks, beaches, scenic drives through the Cascade Mountains. I climbed Mount Rainier earlier when I was younger, and am still drawn to them. I enjoy cooking and gardening, making culinary delights to please a crowd, or one on one. After evening BBQ of grilled salmon or burgers, watching the stars come out, making wishes, and happy memories.
