About Me:
A former professional civil engineer who worked on projects in several countries, I now translate excellent old poetry from my native tongue into my third language, with some astonishingly good results. I also wrote two long non-fiction family history books of the mid-20th century, and four about "My Professional Career". Translating someone else's memoirs from an earlier century, was also successful (with a pastor friend!) and is in print, yet many copies remain unsold due to Covid travel restrictions. The fairly sudden death of my dear wife (after 57+ years of marriage, four married children, nine grandchildren, of whom one is married and has a son) caused a void that I want to fill, of it pleases God. I remain a bibliophile who does not only collect Bibles. My activist activities (even when a self-employed consultant with a home office) did not make me rich, but mature and too rich in experience to fully understand. I do not even understand myself, eh?
