About Me:

I won't win any blue ribbons but can be pleasant company. I have been called "a breed apart" & "fiercely independent" (which I have always considered compliments). Retired. Never a great success, but have always managed to make my own way, Plain, simple, down to earth. There is nothing I respect more than honesty. There is nothing I enjoy more than a good story, a good laugh, and a good cup of coffee. I have little interest for the things that are popular (sports, fashion trends, television... ), but I do have a fascination for the unusal (ghost stories, local oddities, less than famous talents and abilities...). I not only think outside of the box, I threw the box away. I can give you a new perspective.

My Ideal Match:

I have no idea what I'm looking for, or if I'm even looking for anything in particular. I think the whole idea of seeking out someone with a certain build, or hair color, or education, or philosophy is absurd. I respect honesty. I respect someone who tries to do the right thing, even if I don't agree with what that thing is. I like someone who likes themself. You don't have to be like me. Present your side, listen to my side, kick it around for a while and in the end we can be different and just know each other better. Sometimes people grow together, sometimes apart. All I can say with certainty is "keep trying".
