In a ground-breaking discovery, scientists claim to have recovered material that originated outside of our solar system for the first time in history. A team of researchers led by Harvard physicist Professor Avi Loeb recovered metal fragments from the Pacific Ocean in June, which they believe came from interstellar space. The fragments were found to have compositions that do not match any known natural or man-made alloys, leading to speculation that they could be remnants of an alien craft.

During their expedition, the team found approximately 700 tiny metallic spheres, with 57 of them being analysed. These spheres, roughly the size of a grain of sand, were found on the ocean floor about two kilometres deep.

The composition of these spheres included elements such as beryllium, lanthanum, and uranium, which have concentrations that are several hundred times higher than what is found in solar system materials. This confirms that the object came from outside the solar system, although it remains unclear whether it was of natural or artificial origin.

In light of this discovery, the U.S. Department of Defence has launched a website dedicated to providing publicly available information on unidentified anomalous phenomena, also known as UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

This move signifies a growing interest in investigating and understanding such phenomena at a higher level. It also suggests that the government may possess materials related to these phenomena and have programs aimed at retrieving and reverse engineering them.

While the new website aims to bring more transparency to the information surrounding UAPs, not all details will be immediately declassified. However, it represents a step toward acknowledging and addressing the existence of unidentified anomalous phenomena.
