When I went to buy a house I told myself that the number 1 dealbreaker was that I would not buy on a hill. But I loved this house so much that I decided to buy it even though it's a pretty steep hill out back.
I hate mowing so much now. It is very difficult to mow. I even have a sweet a** AWD mower. But it takes me a long time and is extremely hard work. I also often have yellow jacket nests in my back yard. At least 2 or 3 times a year I'll hit a nest and get the shit stung out of me. That shit hurts like a m**erf**ker. I also planted a few silver maples when I first bought it in order to minimize any slipping in the back. They are very annoying to mow around at the current height. Branches jabbing my face and pulling out my ear buds.
A couple times a year I'll have someone stop at my house and offer to mow the lawn. I take them up on the offer. Whatever price they quote I say ok to and it's usually a sweet bargain for me. They never come back a 2nd time.
