And the old sacrificed for the young. For the future. Boomers before us blew their grandparents' wads. The wads their parents silently maintned.
But even so; this is a system we have to rebuild. In these trying economic times, socialism just won't be possible; there's going to be very little left after money becomes worthless and the rich have been eaten. Chaos, lawlessness and desolation are not great new frontiers to conquer. Mostly, you'll have died sooner than later and the ones who are left wint have enough mind-power to start up the last, silenced hydro plant
You don't want more Charlies to die; you don't want the "alt-right" to destroy you. You don't want the street-equipped warlords to divvy-up the remaining women for sex slavery. None of you really want this lawless age when a mere broken ankle or untreated wound means almost certain death.
