In the interest of truth, and for those who actually read profiles, I was diagnosed with a cancer called multiple myeloma. The Dr's say it's treatable but not curable. I live alone and have no family to speak of. But despite my misfortunes I will continue to do my best in dealing with whatever life has in store for me.

I'm a prepper/planner type person. I like the idea of living off grid and at this point have achieved some of that. I live in a rural area of South Carolina with no big cities nearby. My home is a little unusual but lends itself well to basic off grid living. I'm more of an introvert and like to spend most of my time around the house. I'm a very easy going person and have absolutely no interest in dealing with any conflict so if you have difficulty controlling your emotions please don't bring them into my life.

In most ways I'm a very traditional Man and believe my role is to bring wisdom, leadership, security, Integrity, dependability, dedication, love, affection, masculinity and a sense of humor into the relationship. Because I'm a traditional Man, my home is a Patriarchy, and not a democracy nor a matriarchy.

My Ideal Match:

I'm looking for a needle in a haystack, a woman who is younger than myself, has no baggage, understands and accepts the differences between the genders and still has some purity left to offer. Your education, career, income, makeup, hairstyle, nails, fashion or anything else a modern woman thinks are important will not impress me. What will impress me is femininity, purity, humility, empathy, submission and the ability to love the man and not the paycheck.

In general msm & social media have no place in my life and it shouldn't in yours. Porn for men is akin to social media for women. Both are very destructive to lives and relationships. Even though I would very much like to be in a relationship again, I would rather remain alone then try and make things work with a modern minded woman.

Even though I'm old fashioned. I will not make the first move, so if you are interested then it is up to you to make first contact. And if we decide to continue communicating, then just so you know. I have little tolerance for people who don't put much effort into conversations and getting to know the other person. What that means is sporadic messaging, poor return messaging, poor response times and a general lack of messaging etiquette won't fly with me.

What is your favorite failed TV show? It really bothers me that a show like Firefly that showed so much promise gets cancelled after the first season. But a show like Falling Skies which had a reasonably good first season then only got worse should have never made it to 5 seasons.

What is your favorite failed TV show? I agree with Firefly being a great series. It's sad that it was cut short. One of the few series that all the actors and story gelled perfectly right from the very beginning. But I can't say it was my favorite because I have many favorites and can't pick just one.

Did you hear about this? II happened 2 months ago. I live in the sticks of South Carolina and although my neighbors are relatively close, I can't see them and they can't see me. I used to have satellite TV but not their internet and got tired of all lying news so I cancelled my TV service. I do get some over the air TV including news but never watch any of the news. Local news tends to just repeat the same nonsense the lamestream press touts. For years there was no cable here so I used my phone as a hotspot and got most of my info from online sources. But about a year ago cable was strung out here so now I get me internet that way.

When will the left get tired of losing?I voted for Bush knowing that a vote for Perot was a vote for the Clinton's. I wasn't happy with the Repubs but knew that they were still a far cry better then the Clintons or any dimocrat, and Perot was a big unknown. To date every vote for a 3rd party has been a wasted vote.
