So, I’m usually wicked quiet around crowds and people I don’t know, I’m taking it all in before I decide to give anyone my time. I’m too old for bullshit anymore. I never go out by myself and I don’t know anyone in Sarasota my age. I moved down here for a couple reasons, but mainly my aging parents who aren’t getting around so well. I left everything in NH, my entire life, my past, my friends. Florida, as my father says, is a chance for me to have a second chance and not f*ck it up this time. Fingers crossed. I seem to be better at getting my a** hemmed up than I am at staying on the straight and narrow. It’s more fun that way. I’m a die hard punk rock fan. I hate when people claim to listen to everything and then I ask them if they listen to a metalcore band and all of a sudden it’s hell no I listen to everything but THAT! I only listen to punk, rock, alternative, ska, emo, scream, metalcore, death metal….you get the idea. I hate that cookie cutter, main stream, sell-out shit. At least punk music you can damn well hear they are playing because they’re having a fucking blast doing it they aren’t solely doing it for the money. I love riding on bikes. I left my Harley back in NH, cuz my ex fucking blew the engine on her before I could learn how to ride it myself, but there’s nothing like being on a bike. And being in Florida it’s not a seasonal thing, f*ck, if I had one of my own I’d prob dump it a few times being stubborn trying to teach myself how to ride the damn thing.
My Ideal Match:
I’m kind of open here. I moved down here alone, separated from my husband who is back in NH. Not necessarily looking to rush back into anything considering what I had no choice to leave back home. I’d rather just take it one day at a time, make some friends (of my own; that don’t know the ex), maybe find some that actually have shit in common with me like taste in music, riding motorcycles, being at the beach, getting tattoos and piercings, getting stoned. And just keep my options open right now. I’ve only been here 2 months and I’m still trying to adjust. This is the first time I’ve ever moved out of NH, and to do it alone and all in the matter of a 12hr window was way more than intimidating, it was a freaking nightmare that I almost bitched out of a few times, especially considering I hate flying.
