What or if would you be willing to except as a new beginning, leaving your circle behind, starting fresh in a new country or state. not looking back as if you were in the witness protection program! This happened to many women after World War 2, it is less heard of in todays world but yet it happens for love, life... it's not for everyone!... so... have you left and not returned to your past?... have you left the past to start new? I have done this many times for work and a change of life, at 65 I have just did it again... it's different for males and females I'm sure... thoughts?

Change and relocation is good for the soul and forces us out of our comfort zones and complacency though it must be tough if you’re forced to do it because of war. Some people never leave the place they were born in but I’ve moved several times over the years and still want to do it again as what we call ‘home’ can be anywhere that feels right for us at the time, whether for practical or emotional reasons. I nearly ended up in Newfoundland if the man I was seeing hadn’t become unwell. “Not all those who wander are lost.” Nice hair by the way!

What we need is more portable homes so we can just up and leave.

One chooses the path... if one has the ability to survive is all that is required...
If you can't eat it!, drink it!, what good is it?
You can change your life in 24 hours, your the only one holding you back!

And we are not so much like Jesus.
Jesus said "Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests"
but Jesus was on the go.

THE WHO sang "Going mobile" "Keep me movin' on"
Cher sang, "I was born in the wagon of a traveling show"
The Marshall Tucker Band sang about not staying in one place too long "Heard it in a love song"
Some people, the place most home to them is the road or somewhere else. "FREE BIRD" say Lynnard Skynard.
"Papa was a rolling stone. Where ever he laid his hat was his home."

Yep! Get rid of the ball and chain. Be like David Carradine in the tv series KUNG FU. One place to another.
Yep! Johnny Appleseed, Jesus Christ and David Carradine in the tv series KUNG FU. There is an appeal to not being trapped by anything. To live free.

I have done it many times. I like to change things up and I am doing it again at age 72. I am starting a business that is more home based. My small business is struggling in this economic depression. When I have moved to a new place I get to experience what they have to offer. I lived and worked in Hawaii for 35 years before moving to Montana. I have also lived in New York, California and Maine. All were beneficial life choices. When things are new and exciting I thrive. Making new friends is more challenging as you age. But, having connections is important to me. Also, keeping in touch with lifetime friends is a way to help your emotional and mental health.

Why did you choose Montana... Demographics are always used to see if a business is viable...
each person does the pack up and leave for many reasons... yours seem to be ownership of fortune...

My parents did just that. As did most immigrants. Including your ancestors.
