Well, Like my title says, I've had quite a life. I climbed and took care of trees from the time I was 20 til I was 55. Most climbers stop in their 30's. I only stopped when I messed my knee up. I have done things other people just dream about. In a lot of ways my life was like Forrest Gump. I always seemed to be in these incredibly historic moments. For instance, because mother was real big into civil rights, we ended up on Washington DC one day listening to Martin Luther King give his famous " I have a dream" speech. Who knew it would be one of the highest points of the Civil Rights Movement. I was 12.
