Hi! 🤗 I'm DJ. Welcome to my blog, lol. I consider myself a recovering Virgo with a generous helping of all the Virgos traits like an insatiable thirst for knowledge, endless passion for my interests and a love for helping others. Sometimes that passion gets me into trouble and I have to realize it's not my job to fix the world, and there is just not enough time for me to help everyone who needs it.

I'm college educated and work in Engineering (big surprise there) but I also have worked as a welder and an organic farmer, and though I am very analytical and creative, I also love manual labor in the sunshine, and the testosterone it releases. I am sometimes still shy, but the right woman knows just how to bring out my best, to tap into that passion, which may surprise you if you push the right button.

I am a little old fashioned when it comes to treating a lady and have rediscovered lately that I am indeed what I like to call a "hopeful romantic". I want a special woman to share my passion for life and we can be an inspiration to each other.

I also need the vulnerability, uncertainty, instability and risk in my life that comes with new unfamiliar situations, even though my first instinct has too often been to avoid such. I want to hang out with people who inspire me to be a more open and free spirited person, as I have always valued helping others to be their best.

I have many interests that make for good conversation and ways to stay active and healthy, and though I have gotten away from some of these for a time, I wouldn't mind rekindling my passion for one, if it's your passion, or maybe you can turn me on to a new passion of yours. 😘

These include Dancing, Tai Chi, Acupressure, Weight Training, Golf, Pocket Billiards, Playing Guitar, Bowling, Soccer, Fishing, Shooting, Camping, Traveling, Hiking, XC and Downhill Skiing, Gardening, Mountain biking, Motorcycling, Snowmobiling, Chess, Meditation, Natural Healing, Sports Nutrition, Herbology, Wild Edible Plants, Common Law, Religion, True History, The Paranormal, NDE's, The Conspiracy that is Life, DIY projects, designing, building or repairing anything made of wood, steel or concrete, and learning the forgotten "Old Ways" of our forefathers.

I have always been somewhat competitive and like learning new things. Once I commit to learn something new, I tend to immerse myself in it until I have learned all I can. I have always found the alone time spent practicing a sport or hobby, meditative, as well as necessary to achieve a high level of success and ultimately, more enjoyment of the activity.

However, it's fun to just forget being competitive and play for enjoyment with a friend or teach others interested in my experience or learn something new from theirs.

I love simple quiet times spent sharing with my woman. Wherever we are. Whatever we're doing doesn't matter. The rest of the world can wait.

I also love connecting with strangers in the supermarket or gas station and sharing a moment, drawing them into a conversation. We have all been conditioned for so long to fear our neighbors and mind our own business. I spent so much of my life too shy to say anything and always regretting it afterwards.

It's so beautiful to see someone respond, sometimes with surprise first, but then a sort of relief, their soul got to connect with another soul. We all need that and it's not the same online as in person. What more precious gift can we give someone than our time?

My ideal woman is into health, fitness, nutrition and self improvement. She is a lifelong student, always looking to learn new things. She loves people, is kind and considerate of others, values the truth, doesn't take life too seriously, and likes to laugh.

She values the physical connection in a relationship as highly as the mental/Spiritual connection, and is affectionate in nurturing that. She likes lots of touching, kisses, cuddling and attention, and getting in touch with her "wild side"😘

And lastly, she understands that my strongest personality traits, can also be my weakest, and as my best friend, she knows I value her opinion and welcome her honesty always, and that I will strive to make sure she feels the same about me.

Life is too short to leave any of our dreams behind, so I am making a bucket list and I'm looking for the right woman with her own list. Let's help make each others dreams a reality.
