Wow this sounds like PD to a tee. Just need to add the trump sheep syndrome and you got him! So blind, so lifeless, so ignorant. No ambition to do anything but sit on here all day waiting for someone to give some facts then jumps his wad and posts links to right wing propaganda that he thinks is fact and will convince all others. WRONG!! -

The post industrial Era has produced abundance of food and that has caused a population explosion. When you have surplus lives. Not all are needed for labour. There's also older people who don't die as soon as they used to. Due to advances in medicine and the older people keep ther jobs longer. Not offering a chance for the younger ones. It's more complicated than that. But,this my overly simple answer. -

I think it is often a choice.
Often it is a preference.
Some feel at home being homeless.
Work seems grievous to some. What do you gain for your labor? You die whether you work or not. And what we get from our labors, we cannot take with us. One works. Then someone steals your efforts. WHY BOTHER? Work doesn't make sense to everyone.

Young males homeless? I was unaware that was a thing. I know many younger males still live with mommy and sometimes also a daddy. There are certainly many men of all ages living on the streets which could at least partially be blamed on the lack of help offered to homeless men or men in general for that matter. Men are looked upon as disposable despite being responsible for building and maintaining everything that makes our modern lives possible from the homes we live in, the cars we drive, the heating & a/c that keeps us comfortable and the phones that keep us in touch or out of touch depending on your perspective. -

Why are so many young males, homeless and unemployed?
Most males today, were raised by females, and listened to how evil men are, and can not take instructions from a male, so they sling dope, work for women in minimum wage food service jobs...
They are to lazy, and insane, to feed clothe themselves, because someone gives them these, though of very poor quality.....
AZ looks like a 3rd world hell hole, every Hispanics home looks like a episode of Sanford and son, they horde trash, because trash is all they own, and all they want to own ...
They know everything, and prove it by owning nothing, to include personal responsibilities, they take pills for everything, weight loss, depression, anxiety, they can't stand the world, so they take meth and stay up 24-7, or fentanyl and sleep...
They are the perfect slave animals, told when to breed, they worship not Jesus, but his mother Mary, they elect lesbians as bishop's in a faith, that says such should not be....
They only corrupt and distort.
