Setting your status to "Offline" will turn off your chat and hide your online chatting status. You can turn it back to "Online" again at any time or set it to "Away". On the Friends List Management screen, you can accept/decline new friend requests or remove friends from your Friends List.
In addition, when you click on a friend on the right-hand friends menu, you have the option to view their profile, initiate chat or hide your online status from them (turn off chat for a specific user).
When you click the "Chat Now" link for a friend, a popup chat box appears. You can send a message to them and they will receive it immediately. Also from the chat box, there are a few other features. Clicking the button will setup live, streaming video chat using your web cam and microphone, the button will setup a VOIP audio-only call using your microphone, and the button will allow you to select a photo on your device and instantly send it to your friend.

It takes as long as it takes. There are so many variable only your best guess based on experience would even be and educated guess. Example: I was married for 5 years after dating for just over 1 year. Then one morning she didn't wake up. 10 years later I started to be able to tell that my mourning stage was starting to lift. That was 2 years ago, and it's not much better, but I finally am able to admit to myself I need human interaction on a physical lever. (I didn't kiss, date, screw or anything to anyone since she passed for a decade, i had just lost interest in life) but now. 12 years after losing her, I am on 3 "dating sites" and finding it overwhelming and 1000 times more difficult than I imagined. But I need to feel something again.

Hi I'm Liz. I was born male, but by the age of 3 my parents should have known I was Transgender. but they ignored it. and punished me for being feminine. Anyway I got married, met her in Norman actually, and we were married nearly immediatly after my fifth asking lol. that was 16 years ago, she died just before our 5 anniversary. So I haven't been with anyone for 12 years nearly.l My only suggestion is when you sleep w someone you create a bond. Physics can't approve it and they cant deley it dotjes/ and that cond can be a tool if you use it as such to take down other barrieeres in your life. Just give it all a little patience :)
