About Me:
I've already lived the "exciting" life. A partially disabled Navy Vet (served during the 1st Persian Gulf War - injury non-combat related) who is currently working on my 5th career. Previous Boatswainmate (E-5), Repossession and Recovery Specialist (AKA Repo man), Convenience Store Manager and OTR Truck Driver. Just finished up my teaching degree for being a HS Social Studies Teacher (Dec 2024 graduation date with a 3.91 GPA) and anything historic is interesting to me. Twice widowed and a 3x adopter of abandoned dogs on my property. I'm a Cinephile who really enjoys just quiet times watching movies, an active reader and gamer (PlayStation 1,2,3 but not online). Not an outdoors person and really not into travel (I've probably already been there) as I've visited three continents, over 20 countries and all of the lower 48 states. I have a very gruff exterior and not a party type. Very old school and treats a lady like a lady, however I am very liberal when it come to actions within the bedroom. My easiest definer is that I am a mass of contradictions who is financially secure and not looking to play games (already been there, done that). I love to cook and spend shared time in the kitchen., cuddled on the couch watching a movie (with popcorn and real butter) or just spending together time walking thru Wal-Mart going shopping. It has been almost 5 years since my soul mate has passed and almost 30 years since I've kissed another woman, so I am quite out of practice to this dating scene. Ever the Optimist, I have begun to look for another extraordinary life experience. This experience is all new to me...I am not looking to relocate. I have a multiple-acre plot in rural Missouri and expect to build a permanent home here in the next year that will be tornado proof. Use the cog wheel on the right-hand friends menu to view your main options. Options include Managing your friends list or controlling your main chat status. On the Friends List Management screen, you can accept/decline new friend requests or remove friends from your Friends List.
In addition, when you click on a friend on the right-hand friends menu, you have the option to view their profile, initiate chat or hide your online status from them (turn off chat for a specific user).
When you click the "Chat Now" link for a friend, a popup chat box appears. You can send a message to them and they will receive it immediately. Also from the chat box, there are a few other features. Clicking the button will setup live, streaming video chat using your web cam and microphone, the button will setup a VOIP audio-only call using your microphone, and the button will allow you to select a photo on your device and instantly send it to your friend.
