Would you raise another's children, or take in other strays?

I'm tossing them in the river, why would I want, some one else's fatherless sons and daughters?
I did the right thing and waited for the right people and the right time. I already have to suffer for many mistakes, why should I take on the burden of yet another's? -

Many of those so called "fatherless sons and daughters" have fathers. Chances are most of those fathers love their children vary much and have been alienated from them by a crazy selfish mother that you will be jumping into a no win situation with. You will be expected to do all a father is supposed to do including paying for everything without any of the power or reward. The mother won't let you discipline them and she won't do it either so if they want to be difficult then you will have to put up with that. They will never see you as their Dad and you will never be appreciated for all your efforts. There's a reason she's single with children and it's no ones fault but hers. -

Yep bashing women again. You ever wonder why you’re alone? You need to find a nice guy and settle down somewhere in California where your kind of people live. ALL of those kids have father’s numb nuts how do think they got here or is that too basic for you? -

Sorry to learn of your tragic demise. Secreting a child from another parent that has custodial rights is child abuse. It is also contempt of court. The idea any parent has to put up with another parent harming a child is nonsense. I find your comment quite troubling in that it speaks of a fathers failure. A fathers failure to love their child and seek all resources necessary to relieve the child's distress. What is in the "Best interest of the CHILD"? If the father is in distress how do you think the child feels? What I believe you might elude to is a parent giving up. Counseling would certainly benefit. Your last sentence summarizes your comment. You're choose to find blame rather than resolving a childs needs. The child should come first. -

I find your comment really odd and kinda misses the point of mine. What I described is a common occurrence in a world where courts give women far to much control over divorce and children's lives. Many of these women use their children as pawns to make their ex husbands lives more difficult by withholding the children which also harms them. It has nothing to do with the Fathers doing anything wrong.
All they want is to stay in their children's lives and be as good of a Father as they can given the situation. Women can make up any lie they want with no proof and courts almost always side with the mother no matter how bad she is. Even when it's proven the mother was lying in order to keep the children from the father tho court never punishes the mother. The reason they don't is because they have a financial stake in the mother keeping the children.
Most people don't know this but the federal government kicks back to the states somewhere around 30+% of the child support that gets ordered. In other words if the father is ordered to pay $3000 a month then the feds give the state at least $1000 a month. The state doesn't care who is the best parent, only which one makes the most money and that's usually the father so he's the one who has to pay child support so the court can get more from the feds. The state doesn't care if the mothers a convicted ax murder strung out on drugs as long as the father of the children can pay. -

Would you raise another's children, or take in other strays?
I would raise my brother's kids. If I was rich, I would begin an orphanage. I admired HERSHEY of HERSHEY, Pennsylvania THE BIG CHOCOLATE TYCOON! He had an orphanage and treated the kids as his own. He did not have kids of his own, but he had hundreds of children. Yes, I would like to raise a number of children. But I do not care to marry. A wife is not for me. No one follows Bible teachings, so it is a bad time to marry. -

No.
I raised two that weren't mine. Their real dad (my ex's Ex) taught them to be very cruel to me. When I met her, they were 4 1/2 and just over 1 yo. They made my life hell every way possible. I should have walked away, but I was stubborn. My mistake, I had a stroke 13 years afterwards. -

I'd raise my brother's kids and I might raise some orphan kids as well.
Kids are of more value than pets.
But reality is I like my dogs more than I like most people.
There is a reason that people say, "A dog is man's best friend."
But I value children more than I value pets.
Some value pets more than the child in their womb.
Some value another person's child more than the child in their womb.
God wanted a son. Abraham wanted a son. I want children too.
I give more value to my own kids, but I value other people's children too.
But I don't know how much I want a ready-made family.
Plenty of single moms out there.
One looks at the package deal. -

Some people are happy to adopt a number of kids if the government sends them lots of money to do it. When the government gives incentives and incentivizes it, WHY NOT?
Could be profitable for some.
