I've seen this ridiculous argument played over and over by flat earthers. There's ZERO evidence of a flat earth and loads of evidence it's a ball. I used to argue with flat earthers but they have a screw loose that prevents them understanding the obvious. They usually believe in other conspiracies that also have no merit. That's all I have to say on it so I will not argue any further.

It's really not a rabbit hole because it's not deep at all. It consist of a few misguided people who want to believe something so much that they have to ignore the obvious in order to do so. I used to try and help them understand the error of their thinking but I couldn't help any of them. Nevertheless I do appreciate when I learn if they follow the flat earth ideology.

So It's like this: If I started attending a Church and then found out the pastor or any of the Church leadership was a flat earther then I would know that's a Church I shouldn't be attending. And it's not because I dislike flat earthers, but because if the leadership believes it then I know that their decision making abilities have been compromised and they shouldn't be leading a Church. So if you're not hurting anybody then I'm not going to stop you from believing what you want. I just won't take you seriously.

It reached a depth of 12,262 meters (40,230 feet) in 1989. A little friendly competition in seeing who could dig the deepest. Maybe we can bore a hole on this side to try to reach that side. That borehole is located in Russia. It is the deepest human-made hole on Earth and penetrates rocks older than I am. Maybe if we bore far enough, we can find Atlas holding the world. Or maybe a deceased Harlem Globetrotter is spinning the world on his finger. Is it as flat as a pizza or as round as a ball? See you on the other side.

Flat earthers try to use a few scriptures and twist the meanings to fit their delusion. Many people twist Gods word to fit their delusions so there not the only one. But this one is pretty bizarre given the sheer evidence of a Ball Earth. They're a small minority trying to convince the majority the ball earth is a conspiracy spurred on by sailors, pilots, ship captains, the military, NASA, astronauts and every government on the earth along with anyone else who has circumnavigated the earth as passengers.

I don't begrudge any flat earthers but I do pray their eyes are opened. In the grand scheme of things it may seem minor to believe such a thing but I believe it's a sign of something bigger among flat earthers because if you can believe something so easy to prove wrong. Then the sky's the limit on what Satan can convince them to believe. I may sound harsh to some but that's how I see it. I hate this subject because most flat earthers appear to be very intelligent but for some reason fall for this and other fallacies.

This may also be applied to you. I believe we are all hypocrites. Some more. Some less. But I definitely see some hypocrisy in some of the things you write. But that's okay. You do have some interesting subjects. You have identified yourself in your profile as a Flat-Earther and you have reasons for your belief that the world is flat. You also have brought to our attention that the United States is a CORPORATION under some tax code and that the President is the president of that corporation. Interesting stuff you bring to our attention. It is a discussion form. I'm glad you're participating with interesting stuff. The site is almost dead, so you help to make in more interesting, so your participating brings more life to the site for those that actually visit the forums. So, I thank you for adding a bit of life here.

I am not big into reading, but I have read the Bible cover to cover a few times and even typed the Bible cover to cover to improve my typing skills and to become more familiar with the Bible. I also have read the Apocrypha. My favorite non-Bible book to read was "A GOLDEN THREAD" - A History on Solar Energy. A few books I have loved. Most books bore me but a few times I've found books very interesting. Nice to know which books you found the most interesting of all those books you pictured and all those books that you have read.

I do find you speak for others, but as an attorney, you do speak for others at times when it may be wise that they not represent themselves. But I see you do that here. We all presume. Sometimes we are right with our presumptions. Sometimes we are wrong.

Books and formal education are not an indication of intelligence. All that is is an indication that you learned something someone else taught you. For all you know some or all of it was a lie. A true test of intelligence is to be able to look at all the information and make a reasonably accurate determination of how much of it is true.

Flat earthers utterly fail when it comes to whether the earth is flat or a ball. There's no physical evidence of a flat earth and they readily believe doctored pictures and nonsensical explanations from people who pretend to be experts about the flat earth. And they are, but they're experts on the flat earth lie.

There's to many things about the flat earth that could be easily proved and would have already been proved many times over if it were true. Like the ice wall for example. If there truly was an ice wall encircling the earth then there would have been countless expeditions to explore it. So how many expeditions have actually been to what should be a blatantly obvious ice wall? ZERO! I saw a great example of it in a picture that a flat earther tried to pass off as legitimate of a ship pulled up to what would appear to be an ice wall. But alas it was just a research vessel pulled up to an ice flow that was being explored by them.

Plus where are all the military and other research flights mapping and measuring this mysterious ice wall? There aren't any because according to flat earthers there's a conspiracy to keep the truth about the flat earth from every person on earth and to keep them believing the earth is a ball. Which begs the question? Why in the hell would they do that? So in order to do it you would have to have the cooperation of every countries government. So how many countries actually fully cooperate with each other? I feel confident in saying there are no countries that fully cooperate with each other. Heck you can't even get that within a country. However I will concede that you will have some countries that may cooperate on this particular matter but it would still fall short of what's needed to convince the world.

I hate these kinds of conversations because the people involved are intelligent and yet somehow believe some pretty outlandish things The shortcomings of flat earthers allow them to believe things that not only make no logical sense but also have no chance of being proven right. I guess I have a soft spot for those who believe things like this that don't really hurt anybody. However those who make money off promoting it, them I have a problem with.

Basically EVERYTHING is of the cycle or circular form or circumference in this galaxy.
Blood or water/liquid droplets,the Sun,Moon,any planet or orbit is either ovular in shape or round,other than a meteorite or space debris.

Life's cycle is round in the way that it continues endlessly as that of a continuous return to what is from what once was, as borne again or ongoing.
Reasoning should relay to thinking person that something which is flat has an edge but only in the way of canyon cliffs and trenches could relate such an edge which would imply a flat-Earth concept because reality would prove otherwise in the way of an endless distancing of landscape or landmass.
To be clear, this sort of "rationale" comes from a limited way or lack of insight into what the environment should show any onlooker whom has traveled our world.🌎 Other than that of extremely limited experience or thought and travel, Anyone ought be able to realize that such a thing is not arguable nor reasonable in essence and nature.
If the Earth were flat,how could sea-going vessels leave Europe and discover the America's without going over the edge into space or be destroyed by the end of travelable water or wagon trains the end of land? How can such an idea even exist in times wherein it's been proven wrong by our society and travelers?! It is absurd and mystifying at best.
